Duck and Dive and the hirer are bound by this agreement at the time of booking.

Promotional Coupons
Only 1 coupon is allowed per booking. “Swimschool” coupons may be redeemed for children (or their siblings) currently enrolled in swimming lessons with Duck and Dive.  

Inclusions/Exclusions
Duck and Dive agree to provide a birthday party play space and celebration space for the times detailed on your confirmation.
75 mins play time in the duck and play room
45 mins “cut the cake” time in the celebration room
Up to 10 children with up to 20 accompanying adults (unless confirmation in writing has been made by Duck and Dive).
Team member to assist with your hosting and ushering your guests in between rooms

Our space caters only for the age group 1-5. Older siblings of the birthday child only may attend and if older than 5, remember that the equipment is not designed for their size or weight and should not be used.

There is no party host, the aim is to provide a safe, weather proof space for supervised play where you can host your party. Our team member WILL be available to facilitate, organise and help tidy up for you.

House Rules

• Children to be supervised by your guests at all times
• Adults to wear supplied over shoes NO ADULT BARE FEET
• BYO food (cold only) must be brought plated/glad wrapped with disposable crockery/cutlery/drinkware
• No food or drink in the play room
• No confetti/similar
• No parking inside the centre, only street parking please (right outside)
• No nappies to be left in the centre, please take home with you
• No smoking/vaping
• No alcohol
• No nuts
• Any unboxing/unwrapping of gifts to be taken home with you

What are the cancellation rules? 
If you need to cancel, the following charges apply:

• outside of 28 days = $100 
• 27 days to 14 days = 50%
• 13 days to day of party = 100% *

Can we arrive early?
No, as the party room won’t be available until your booking time. We advise party hosts arrive 15 mins before and guests 5 mins before.

How do you manage timings of the play room and celebration room?
With a timer! The clock starts ticking at the time of your booked slot. We will help you to “people manage” so that your guests can move from room to room easily thereby allowing us time to prepare the space for next arriving booking. Guests may arrive 5 mins before and wait in reception but need to leave on the dot!

Can I bring my own decorations?
Yes, you can. However, it must be free-standing and it must all be removed BEFORE the end of your time slot and quickly. We do require you to let us know in advance.

Personal property
Anything left anywhere is done so at your own risk with no liability held by Duck and Dive. If we find anything of value we will do our best to return this as soon as possible. Small items we find such as clothing or apparel (yours or baby’s) will be held in lost property for the remainder of term and then sent to Vinnies.

Centre closure
FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS:
Duck and Dive are not liable for, nor will refund bookings against any force majeure event.

ADVERSE WEATHER/TRAFFIC/PUBLIC HEALTH ORDERS ETC:
If the centre is operational then we are not responsible if you are unable to reach the venue. No refund or reschedule of a party is made in this regard.

Regretfully there are no refunds or part thereof in the event there is an evacuation eg fire alarm etc

Withdrawal of service
Duck and Dive reserve the right to exclude entry to any clients wishing to participate in any of our services entirely at our discretion.

Photography
By entering our premises or participating in our events, you consent to be photographed by us or our authorized representatives and to have your image and likeness used by us for promotional purposes on our social media platforms or any other media or distribution methods, now known or later developed. You waive any rights to inspect or approve the photographs or the use of them and release us from any liability arising from or related to the photographs or their use. If you do not wish to be photographed or have your image and likeness used by us, please inform us in writing before entering our premises or participating in our events. Alternatively, you may avoid being photographed by staying away from areas where photography is taking place or by notifying the photographer of your preference.

Exclusion of Liability
In the absence of any proven negligence, lack of due diligence or breach of duty by Duck and Dive; its employees, the participation of you; your spouse/partner; child or those in whose care you have placed your child for the purpose of attending or observing Duck and Dive activities is done so entirely at your and their own risk.
